David Pasahow

David Pasahow is a founding Partner of Chartwell Partners and is based in Dallas, Texas.  He provides leadership services to the aerospace, transportation and other selected sectors.  During the preceding five years, David had built the general / business aviation practice at Heidrick & Struggles, a global executive search firm.  Seeking to focus his efforts on a more select list of clients and to be able to provide a deeper and more personal level of service, Chartwell Partners was formed.

The scope of Chartwell Partners’ service offerings includes organizational design, strategy, executive recruiting, coaching and assessments, with a focus on the CEO / COO level and their direct reports.  These assignments will be conducted for established, as well as early-stage entities.

David was a Senior Partner in the firm of Heidrick & Struggles, the world’s largest executive search firm, for 17 years.  Joining the firm in 1987, he most recently served as a Senior Partner and Office Managing Partner of the Dallas office from 1998 to 2002.  He managed the firm’s Canadian operations in Toronto from 1996 to 1998, and prior to that, he was a Partner in the Chicago office.  His primary focus was senior management positions within general management, operations, sales and marketing. This work was primarily conducted for aviation/aerospace, transportation and industrial entities.

Earlier, David was a principal in the firm of Nordeman Grimm, a medium-sized search firm headquartered in New York.  His client base included manufacturing and service businesses throughout the Midwest, and a significant part of his practice included senior assignments in sales, marketing, manufacturing and finance.

Between 1979 and 1981, David served as a senior consultant in the executive search practice of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., located in their Chicago office.  Earlier, he was involved in establishing a graduate business school program in Chicago between 1977 and 1979.  He began his career with the Western Union Telegraph Company in field sales, sales management, and product management assignments.

David holds an A.B. degree in psychology from Kenyon College and an M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School of Management.  He serves as a Board of Director for the Commemorative Air Force and Conax Buffalo Technologies.
