Mike DeSantis has spent 20 years in the executive recruiting industry. Beginning his career in 1991 with Heidrick & Struggles in Atlanta, he held roles of progressive responsibility and leadership including being a founding member of the firm’s Philadelphia office in 1997 as well as serving as its Managing Partner for several years. In 2006, Mike joined Russell Reynolds Associates as Managing Director within the firm’s healthcare sector in its Washington, D.C. office. In that capacity, he served as point person for the firm’s growth in healthcare and related service providers as well as Practice Leader for the firm’s healthcare information technology practice.

Mike’s areas of expertise include healthcare service providers as well as health insurance and healthcare technology enabled service providers. His executive focus is on general management with a concentration in CEO, finance, technology, and sales and marketing engagements. His clients range from large, non-for-profit health systems to commercial vendors serving healthcare and professional service firms as well as Private Equity firms that have an investment focus in the healthcare services and technology sectors.

Mike received his B.A. in history from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is active in community activities in and around the Philadelphia area where he and his family make their home.
