Stuart Bush has spent over 27 years in the executive recruiting industry, beginning in 1984 with Russell Reynolds Associates in Dallas. He progressed through various roles including Executive Director, Managing Director, and Manager of the firm’s Dallas office. He also led the firm’s Healthcare Services Practice. In 1999, after 15 years with Russell Reynolds, Stuart joined Heidrick & Struggles’ Dallas office where he was most recently Senior Partner and Managing Partner of the Dallas Office. He also directed Heidrick’s Managed Care and Health Insurance Practice for several years. Stuart was a founding Partner of Chartwell Partners in 2004.

Stuart’s areas of specialization include healthcare, insurance, and business services, with particular emphasis on general management, corporate directors, and corporate financial officers.

Stuart spent several years as Chief Financial Officer for a privately held Dallas company prior to his tenure at Russell Reynolds. Previously, he worked in the corporate finance department of Philip Morris, and earlier with KPMG/Peat Marwick in both the audit and private business departments.

Stuart holds an MBA from the University of Virginia and a BBA degree from the University of Texas in Austin. He is active in community activities including leadership roles with The Senior Source, YMCA, Darden School of Business Administration, and the Incarnation Foundation.

A native of Dallas, Stuart and his wife, Carla, have two children, Erika and Jack, ages 22 and 19, respectively.
